Aleksandra Popov is an architect, based in Vienna. The family's inherited understanding of art led her to architecture, but to the ultimate understanding that architecture is the essence of a sociological matter. As an experience-oriented individual, she is committed to enhancing contemporary solutions that lies in art and architecture bringing together.


After coming in Vienna 2018, she pursued a Master's studies at Technical University in Vienna, graduating an engineer degree in Architecture. During her studies and after graduation, her professional focus is on residential building construction and the execution planning development. Alongside her architectural work, she is engaged in contemporary art. In 2024, together with contextual artist Željka Aleksić, they founded the association Independent Art Scene in Vienna. This organization engages in socially responsible projects focused on Balkans artist's integration on European art ground, in collaboration with Austrian institutions as well as the artist's homeland countries. In collaboration with furniture craftsmen, industrial designers, and professionals involved in interior design, she is currently working on launching a start-up project. This initiative aims to unite small craftsmen and applied artists from the region to support small businesses in these fields to strengthen competitiveness through increased visibility, countering the trend of mass production. Since 2022, she has established her working studio and showroom at Servitengasse 11 in Vienna, in collaboration with Shamliza d.o.o. from Belgrade. This space not only facilitates collaboration with like-minded individuals but also hosts hobby workshops in partnership with various local artist.
